This was his first game of the season filling in for an injured Alex Bolduc. He played 6 other NHL games last season and he looked weak, and uninspired. I love the way this young man played on Tuesday. Finished his checks, shot the puck well, bursted with speed on the fore-check. I think that's part of his cockiness, when he got called up he said "I'm gonna get one tonight". He's now riding a 13 game point streak (12 in AHL/1 NHL) and something like 26 points in his last 20 or some odd games. A great game for Sergei and certainly one he will never forget!
