Yep, this is a double header. My very first internet trade leaded to me acquiring 3 more Luongo cards for my Goalie project. It feels good to get my first trade under the belt, although it was no "blockbuster" trade by any means.
Here's the rundown:
LOST: 19 base cards from the 2010-11 Score set
GAINED: 5 Canucks cards (1 RC)
I saw that Dave over at Wax Stain rookie was in need of a few cards to complete his 2010-11 Score set. I pulled the ones I had out of my collection and sent them his way for 5 cards that would get much more "face-time" in my collection. I'm very happy with the trade as the 5 cards he sent my way are valued at $15.50. Here's the first of the bunch.

Daniel Sedin
Not bad, the card rings in at about $5...but this wasn't the card I wanted the most. The card I had my eye on was this...
2010-11 Score Hot Rookies (Glossy)
Evan Oberg (RC)
Yes! After pulling 2 boxes worth of my favorite product so far this year and over 500 cards, I didn't come up with the only Hot Rookie Canuck. Of course, I finally got it in this deal. I make it a goal every year to try and collect the newest Canuck rookies they come out with each year (i.e - Shirokov, Oberg etc). I personally think Oberg should be playing as the 'Nucks 7th defense-man possibly their 6th. The coaching staff don't think so apparently, but that's why I'm not an NHL coach and they are. As for the Goalie project part of tis blog, here are the three Luongo's I picked up...

2007-08 McDonald Season In Review
Some people aren't crazy about McDonald's cards but I don't mind them. In any which way, it's nice to add these three cards to the collection. I like the Stars on Ice card because of the Vintage uniform.
Here are the revised totals:
